Todd Michael Band

As we “Turn The Page” to 2022 - see what I did there Pete Johnson, we reflect and look back and dim the stage lights on a fun-filled 2021 for Todd Michael Band.  

We kicked off the year with a trip down to Nashville on New Year’s Day to live out a dream and sign with our label, MC1 Nashville - a part of Sony Music Entertainment. And so we were on our way…followed by new endorsements including Nicola Brand Strings, and continuing our great relationships and working with our amazing sponsors/partners - J&B Boots USA, Fat Matt's BBQ, Pick Guy Guitar Picks, Vater Drumsticks, TRITT Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Silverado Outpost, JB's Market, and many more.  

Then the lockdowns ended and we were back on the road around MICHIGAN. After more studio time and working on our EP album- due out in 2022, In February-we release our first single on our label - “Up For Getting Down” and it rang out on radio stations across the US and internationally as well! With a new single on country radio, we were welcomed down to perform a showcase in Music City and then off to step on the hallowed and legendary stages on Broadway in Nashville.  

Many more road trips ensued and took us all the way for a week of performances in Florida, and then to the other states of Illinois and Ohio, to the UP of Michigan, and to many festivals, weddings, and other events along the way.  

We had the honor of sharing stages with National Artists in John Michael Montgomery, Chris Janson, David Nail, Steve Azar, and Tyler Farr. In that, we made our way to Michigan legend - The Machine Shop for a sold out show!  

A constant in life is change and with that we said a goodbye for now to the incredible - Mike Chisnall - as he was called back to the awesome Postmodern Jukebox. With that we welcomed back Phil Fig as he graced us with his talents and then also welcomed a very skilled Kory Koster. A big shout out to the great Paul D. Willette as well stepping in to kill it on the drums for us too! We also celebrated anniversaries of one year with the amazing Cody Crawford and adding another - now to 3 years with the phenomenal - Pete Johnson! We also welcomed Marc J Krenzke to the team and a thank you to Austin Brechtelsbauer for having our back and helping as always!Thank you guys for sharing in an amazing year with me and look forward to so much more ahead!  

I want to specially thank from the bottom of my heart - our families, loved ones, and better half’s in Holly Koenig, Marissa Rodeheffer, Morgann Gwynne-Violet Koster, Ian Coffin, Dani Armstrong, and Kena Krenzke for all your sacrifice, for our late nights, for all your love, and allowing us to do what we do!! Couldn’t do it without you being by our sides and for your support.

GOODLETTSVILLE, TN: Driven by his passion for music Todd Michael and the Todd Michael Band formed in 2017. Since then, they have performed many high energy shows over the past three years. The Todd Michael Band includes: Pete Johnson, Mike Chisnall, and Cody Crawford. Todd, the Golden Voice Country front man is from the Great Lakes Bay area in Michigan. Todd's hometown is the small rural farming community of Munger, MI. Todd has been nominated for Country Male Vocalist of The Year by Review Magazine starting in 2016 through 2020. He has performed with acts like Brothers Osborne, Brett Young, Ashley McBryde, Chase Rice, Eli Young Band and many others. 

Early in January 2021, Todd Michael signed a record deal with MC1 Nashville, a subsidiary of Sony Music. MC1 is home to ACM Award winning artist Jeff Carson, "Blues Queen" Claudette King, the daughter of the late and legendary BB King, Brooke Woods, Nathan Stanley, the grandson of the late icon Dr. Ralph Stanley, Lee Hilliard, Alan Turner, Bernadette Kathryn and others. The first National Radio release single for the Todd Michael Band will be released in February 2021 to Music Row, Secondary and Billboard Indicator Radio.
